In the same year based on the Resolution of the Soviet of People's Commissars of the Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic "International" Rechitsa wire and nails making plant was renamed to "Rechitskiy metizniy zavod". On November, 12, 1965 the plant was transferred to the Ministry of ferrous metallurgy of the USSR, directly subordinated to "Soyuzmetiz".

Quality management system for Design and Manufacture of the hardware products as per STB ISO 9001-2001 was put into operation. Delivery program includes more than 85 kinds of nails as per GOST and DIN standards of the diameters 1.2 - 6.0 mm, length 14 - 310 mm; wire of different diameters - low carbon steel wire, wire for reinforcement of reinforced concrete structures, steel welding wire; wood screws of the diameter 2.5 - 6.0 mm, length 10 - 90 mm; screws M3 - M10 with length of 8-70 mm; bolts as per standards and special bolts M6 - M16 with the length 72 - 720 mm; standard and special hexagon nuts M4-M16; standard and special rivets of the diameter 2.5 - 16 mm, length 6 - 100 mm; special axles of the diameter 3 - 10 mm. New technologies for heat treatment of nails made of steel 70, which is produced by BMZ. The packaging of the annealed wire is made in skeins of 5 - 50 kg, the packaging of the products is performed into cardboard tare of 1-5 kg by means of the automatic equipment produced by "Bilwinco" (Denmark), "Altrimex" (Netherlands); the processes of nails polishing and nails rolling by means of flat dies and roller-segment is made with forming of the nails' shank of ring and screw type, the production of nails with the diameter of 7-10 mm and length of up to 310 mm.

Modern Italian nail making machines for the production of calibrated machine nails suitable for welding into coils of 300 - 1000 pieces, which are used with special automated pneumatic nailers, capable to drive in 8-9 nails/second.

Fasteners making machines of Taiwanese manufacture, capable to produce fasteners as per EN standard, were put into operation.

Republican unitary enterprise "Rechitsa metizny plant" became a member of the Production Union "Byelorussian Steel Works". The Division of Foreign economic relations and Sales was created, which combined the Department of Foreign economic relations and Sales and Marketing Department. At present 2100 people are employed at the plant. The production of twisted wire, nails manufactured of twisted wire, self tapping screwsas per STB ISO 7049-7051 was organized as well. The main sales markets are European countries and CIS.
